I know it’s silly but just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks. It’s my road bike, in case that makes a difference.
My vote goes for white…
White. Otherwise, the saddle will just look out of place.
2/2! Based on that statistically significant result, I will go with white! Thanks ST! I will never make any life decisions without you! Hooray!

Rule #8
// Saddles, bars, and tires shall be carefully matched.3
Valid options are:
Match the saddle to the bars and the tires to black; orMatch the bars to the color of the frame at the top of the head tube and the saddle to the color of the frame at the top of the seat tube and the tires to the color where they come closest to the frame; orMatch the saddle and the bars to the frame decals; orBlack, black, black

WHITE for the Win.

If you go white, how long will it stay white? Slightly dirty grey will look worse than black!
Sell the white saddle and get a black one, bikes should be all black

Glad I’m in compliance with Rule #8. Waiting on a white Adamo still, but my white decals on my Shiv frame meant I had to go white with my bar tape. Plus, my Shiv shipped with this UGLY ass stem, black with white stripes, so I swapped the black tape for white to mute the ugly stem stripes.
So, as if the decision wasn’t already made, I’d vote white…
Black.
white only looks good on showroom floors. in my experience black looks good out on the road after hundreds of miles. plus, you’ll still be obeyingthe velominati rules.
Mate white Fizik microtex. It stays white and if it doesn’t, it’s easy to clean. After two years, mine’s still as white as it was the first day.
I read a decent trick a while back about keeping white bar tape basically white. Use Pledge and a rough cloth. Make sure to get as much of the Pledge off though. Could make for slippery tape.
works pretty decently…
cheers

White. And I’ve ad no issues keeping it clean.
**If you go white, how long will it stay white? Slightly dirty grey will look worse than black! **
A valid concern. This IS what happens with most of the foam based bar tapes. The one bar tape that I’ve had experience with that does not get dirty is the Fizik Glossy bar tape. I have white on my bike, and it looks as good today, as when I put it on the bike a year ago!

+1 on black or even silver/grey. White gets dirty too fast, expecially foamy white tape. I won’t use white on my bike again. Plus a colored tape is easier to spot on a rack in transition. Its’ one extra cue.
Agree, ditch the white saddle and go black! Hopefully the bike didn’t come with one of those white stems either…
Black. doesn’t show dirt, and it’s not a sign of surrender.
