Polar S625X - How to erase execise files?

Used to manage the exercise files through the IR on my laptop
New laptop, no IR
Can’t seem to find the function to erase files on the watch itself.
Can somebody tell me how?
Thanks

Ron

.

Go to Files menu in your 625.
Select exersice you want to delete → Push down ‘light’ button on top left for a couple of seconds → Asks if delete → confirm by pressing red button.
Repeat for other files if necessary.

Thanks for the replies

Still having trouble though when I try
When I go to “file”, my only option is “records”
I’m not able to see or select any files.
I can see the cumulative data under records, e.g. total riding time, which is the same as my last ride

Nevertheless when I try to record a new workout it says memory is full.

When I go the other route per the manual and go to file and directly press/hold the light button to delete all files, nothing happens.

Resetting the watch doesn’t change things either

Any ideas?
I’ve had the watch for a long time.
Haven’t used it in a while, and just had battery replaced at the polar service center.
I knew it was full when sending it, and had assumed that replacing the battery would delete/reset everything, but that doesn’t seem to have happened.

Ron.

I would download your files and then we can perform a Global Reset. We do not perform Global Resets just for simple battery changes, your data remains. Once downloaded, take a pen, and press the reset button that is in between the two right side buttons, all of your icons will light up, then press the bottom left and then press the top right. If done properly, you will see a new display, MONITOR S725, navigate with the right side buttons to DEFAULT SET. Press the red button. Should basically do a hard reboot.

Thanks a bunch, that seems to have done the trick after a few tries
