Hello,
I’m looking for a power meter for my bike. So far, I think stages and quarq re great tools. I would like to know what is PRO and CONS of each power meter tool. Your feedback would be appericated.
Thanks

Not to be mean Dan but search those two names on the forums and you will see tons both pro and con of each. To each their own on this. Too many things to list honestly
In OP’s defense, there was a similar post yesterday asking Garmin vs Quarq that people responded to (myself included)
Personally I wouldn’t get stages. Save the money and get something that measures total power (like the quarq, or many other power meters). And of course there’s always the DCRainmaker power meter buyer’s guide that can help list out pro’s and cons
I am a happy stages user. I choose the Stages over the Quarq, mainly because it is easier to install. From my Wattbike sessions, I know that my left and right leg power is distributed nice and equally. Therefore, I have no issues with one-sided power meters.
Quarq hands down. Unless you’re a 50/50 robot 24/7/365 a left-only power meter just isn’t viable for training and pacing. Do a forum search and you’ll see that Stages also has issues with signal drops as well.
