Please Help: I know it's August, but talk to me about Sidi Diablo's (winter cycling shoes)

I ask only because there are some good deals on these out there.

I rode through the winter on my cross bike last year, even down to about -10C. Had the gear set up fully dialed in, other than my feet. Despite neoprene booties, wool socks, sock liners and MTB shoes, my feet still went numb around 45 minutes into the ride.

I’m contemplating sinking the cash into a pair of Diablo’s. Anyone have any experience with them? To what point do they/did they keep your feet warm?

Thanks.

Can someone help? I’m about to pull the trigger on these, and want to get a sense…

I’m also interested in hearing anyone’s experience…
