Please diagnose my pain from swimming

About a month or so ago, I’ve started to get a sharp shooting pain in my left elbow while swimming. It’s right in between the two knobby feeling bones right on the outside of my elbow (sorry for the less than technical description). It’s most noticeable when I’m using paddles. It flares up on most strokes with my left arm, right when my forearm is perpindicular to my body (in the middle of the S of my stroke). It hurts, but not enough to keep me from hitting the pool.

tendonitis. I feel it too off and on.
FWIW, it demonstrates that you are getting a pretty decent pull!

I had a lot of this a couple summers ago - also flares up at the end of a long workout. Overuse tendonitis. NSAIDS and ice

I’ll second the tendonitis diagnose. Ease off a bit the volume, lose the paddles for a while and ICE. If you want it treated right then go for an anti-inflammatory.
