Does anyone, except the pros, have one?
nytro claims on their site to have them instock, i was going to drive up this weekend and see. I saw on all3sports.com they are taking preorders for a november delivery.
TriSports.com has at least one small…they did about a week ago.
Don’t have one, but saw one at a bike show recently. On looks alone (not just esthetics, bit design appeal/smarts) I thought it was the best bike of all the latest super bikes - very impressive…but out of my budget.
Let me know if you see one at Nytro.
I just got mine 2 weeks ago! I raced it last weekend and it is worth every penny. If you want one, deal with your local shop. They can work with their Scott rep. That is what I did. But I did pay for it back in November. Rumor is there are less than 20 in the states.

I saw Ain-Alar Juhanson (99.9% certain, considering there aren’t to many super-sized guys with a Plasma 2 around) about a month ago outside Nytro with what looked to be a new set of Hed’s on it.
Again, he is a triathlete “giant” in person and the Plasma 2 looked pretty damn good!

I paid for one back in August. Each month My LBS has tried to get one in and nothing from the Utah Scott rep. My LBS has offered different bikes to make up for the problem, but this is my dream bike and I am finally at the point where I can afford it. To know that they are available and that I cannot get one is frustrating. I feel like Scott is screwing with my LBS, never thought their customer service was so bad. Or, maybe it is because I live in Salt Lake and it is not a high priority with Scott.
Wait until you see the Plasma 3. Haven’t seen it but one is in the works I am sure

As you already realised, we are facing at the moment big problems with our
Plasma production. Today it is unpredictable for us how many bikes are
produced each week. Therefore it is not possible to give you information
regarding Plasma delivery dates for the next 4-8 weeks. Unfortunately we
have to declare all Plasma orders void. All orders confirmed in our system
are void and to be considered as unconfirmed. In February we will evenly
distribute all produced Plasma bikes with a fair distribution key to all
customers/countries.
We sincerely apologize for the trouble caused.”
If this is true it seems odd that a retailer has one on the floor unless it was a model and size that had not been put on backorder with Scott.
Just received an email from Scott. They are currently producing 12 bikes per day at the factory and obviously the demand is larger than they can supply. They have been producing all the sizes except 54 which is the size I need. The reps are going crazy also I guess, and Scott will try to make it up. We’ll see, but I am patiently waiting and will see what happens.
Well my frame never arrived as promised. No new date given. I am about a week away from cancelling my order.
We have one on the floor currently. Have had it for about 3 weeks. It is a size 56. Great bike if it fits you.
Picked my Plasma 2, 54 up yesterday. Oh my it is beautiful.
