Just curious…Is the seat post cut to fit or does it slide all the way into the seat tube?

Hmm - from that picture, it seems that the answer may be dependent on the how much seat post needs to go into the seat tube! It has been my experience that many of the framesets with large span aero seatposts have limits to how far the post can be inserted due to the inner taper of the seat post tube. For example, the Giant TCR TT and Trinity framesets come with very long aero seatposts and the interanl surface of the seat tube only allows insertion to a dept of about 14-17cm afterwhich the seatpost has to be shortened to achieve required seat height.
