Hi Everyone

having a nightmare, ordered a new FSA Orbit C-40 ACB tapered headset from Planet X as thats what they advised me i had to get.
I then took it to the shop and they tried to fit it but said wasnt the right size. So phoned PX and they cant tell which one i have!!! (never been changed so they should know)

its an original PX Exocet bought 4 years ago

the shop measured the two bearings from the outside they are = top bearing 41.8 and bottom bearing 46.9 (I think its the bottom one which isnt standard)

Can anyone identify what bearings or headset i need to get as its becoming a nightmare - the bearings are to rusty to see they number printed aswell

Google your local bearing suppliers and pay them a visit, they will measure up your existing bearing and sell you a replacement - It will usually be of better quality and possibly will be cheaper.

Okay, ill see if i can do that. not sure how local a bearing shop is though
