Pimp my new Zipp Wheels

Just got a sweet deal on a new set of 2011 404 clinchers (alloy rim), $1485 delivered.

Now I just need the knowledge to make these wheels fast.

Tubes: it seems the obvious consensus is latex.

Rim strips? I usually use Velox cloth, the Zipp instructions say do not use this product. What rim tape for Zipps?

Tires? These are going to be for RR and TT, so I think I would like to go with 23 mm tires, even though for straight up TT use, 21 mm would be faster. Any thoughts?
I have been using Michelin pro race tires for TTs, I thought they have reasonably low RR. What do the experts say? I would like a fast tire, but don’t want to get something that would
be prone to flats or will handle poorly.

Thanks for your collective genius.

Zipp Tangente tires
Zipp Rim Tape.

I hear those rock for CX.

In terms of road use go with butyl and gatorskins. Do not beleive the hype. Does tufo make clinchers?

latex tubes, 23mm zipp tangentes would be the obvious choice I think. Vittoria evo CX are a little cheaper, with slightly better RR and slightly worse aero (its the same tire, different tread shape laid onto it)

I think the tangentes grip a little better, which is why I am experimenting with them right now.
