just saw a guy cross in a hand cycle kinda thing…how does he do the bike?

They ride a bike set-up so they can pedal with their arms. Sorta like a recumbent bike where they pedal with their arms. Then they finish the “run”, just as you would expect … in a racing wheelchair.
Anyone know the status of the girl who DNF’d last year after missing the bike cutoff? She was the one on the cover of Runners World, has a prosthetic leg. Did she finish?
