I always thought Baldwin was a good Jack Ryan fit for that movie, more so than I would have said Connery.

I’ll add Deniro and Pacino for their respective roles in Heat.

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones
RDJ as Tony Stark
Marisa Tomei as the girlfriend in My Cousin Vinnie
.

Sean Penn as Jeff Spicoli (Fast Times)
Nicolas Cage as H.I. McDunnough (Raising Arizona)
Sean Connery as John Patrick Mason (The Rock)

Tom Cruise - Top Gun 2.
Robert Duvall - Gone in 60 seconds.
Jessica Simpson - Dukes of Hazzard

Humphrey Bogart, Casablanca
Sean Connery, Red October
John Goodman, The Big Lebowski (but that’s just my opinion)

John Goodman in Lebowski was absolutely incredible.
As was John Turturro as The Jesus. He was probably the most impactful character in any movie, ever, to only speak what, one or two lines total?

I’ll nominate DiCaprio for Wolf of Wall Street and Ray Leota in Goodfellas.

Nathan Lane as Albert Goldman in The Birdcage.

I think the Coen brothers just do a phenomenal job of casting. John Goodman could just as easily make this list for Big Dan Teague and Turturro for Barton Fink. Hell, they even got Nick Cage a mention in this thread.

Absolutely. Javier Bartom in No Country for Old Men was another iconic character in a Coen bros movie.
