Pedal action?

So there I am. Merrily (!?) pounding out another hour or so on the trainer last night. I look down and notice that my right knee traces a sort of figure-of-eight pattern while I’m pedalling. Look at the left which seems to have a straight up and down type motion .

Question(s) to all you STers:

Is that normal?

AND:

If not, how do I correct the wrong leg?

Okay…listen to me…LeWedges will solve this problem. Cyclefit do them in the UK…they came over to Gibraltar and we had bike fits and LeWedge done…if you search posts on LeWedge I have it as the best cycling thing I have ever spent money on…trust me, it works…
