What, if any, Pearl Izumi models are comparable to the following Asics models? And is the sizing the same? I’m asking for 2 different people, I don’t run in both of these. Thought I might try them since I like their wearenotjoggers website (can’t think if a better reason to try something new
– plus it will give me something to do over the winter).
DS Trainer 12 (I’m thinking maybe the syncroFloat 2)
And
Cumulus (or however you spell it) don’t care about this one as much since it’s for a friend
Thanks
WTF BRO!?!?!?!?!
you dont care about my shoe?!?!?!
oh the shame…
If you are only running 1.6 miles per day does the shoe really matter?
I was in the same situation having a coupon for a free pair of shoes. I wondered about sizing compared to Asics DS trainer as well. I contacted them & they said to figure the sizing was the same as Asics. This was what I experienced.
I ended up buying a pair of the closeouts of the syncroseek for $56 to try out before I used my coupon since I can get any pair I want. So far they have been pretty good.
Of the 6 models I narrowed it down to the syncroseek, syncropace or syncrofloat. Both the float & seek now have updates named float2 or seek2. The seek is for trail or street with the seek2 in Gortex. The seek is lightweight, stable & neutral. The float2 & syncropace on either side of the seek. I think the pace is a lighter neutral shoe. The syncroguide is their stability, motion control designed for heavier runners. I eliminated that as too stiff. There may be more knowledgeable folks out there. This is based on what I gathered via the web & talking to others.
Hope this is helpful to you.
