Glad you got it right. The original url in the post that Paulo deleted had a photo/story of Conrad Black and his fraud charge. Jonnyo makes a much better read.
it would have been a better story if they published jonnyo’s own race report instead of having a writer write it.

You mean the fish? That’s a FireFox extension called UnPlug. It lets me download video content from pretty much any website.

i think i have some pretty cool people in penticton backing me up and been very supportive… that is really nice!!!
but i m not sure i can write in a newspaper, i more often than not dont agree with there very poor writing skills and dont want to be part of that!!!

I’m pretty sure the video was for Persona Communications (the main sponsor of the event). They’re working on a full video of the event and they’ll be posting it on the website. They have a similar one done for Oliver HIM.

Funny thing about Persona - I knew they were the new title sponsor, as their name is all over everything. They really upped the ante wrt schwag, and I think the race series got some excellent benefit from the sponsorship - but I had no idea until the awards ceremony what Persona was!
Then the President/CEO won his AG, which is pretty cool.

Maybe Canadian TV stations are nicer than US ones, but they usually charge you for a dub of something that aired whether you request a DVD or a video file that they email to you. I tried to request a clip from Fox local news in PHX. I had to go through the regional office who then directed me to a dub center. I think they wanted about $80 for a short clip. 
I’d still call, and maybe they will cut you a break. We want this on youtube, of course!
$80? Thats very expensive. I got copies of entire race coverage with post race interviews for only $25 from a TV station in Ontario, Canada.
Of course that was 10 years ago when I was actually fast enough to be interviewed 
WHy would they charge for that? They don’t even charge for medical insurance. But you might have to wait 9 months to get it.

I agree about Persona too, Joe even said it at the Pre-race meeting what Persona was because he was getting asked so much!! And he also mentioned that the President (or whoever) did something like 6 Ironmans in 6 months or something crazy like that!! Kind of a neat company to team up with.
