I’m not sure it’s even a Zipp disk. There seems to be a edge at the rim. I don’t think a 909 disk looks like that. Maybe a Renn?

The paint would change the size of the dimples some. Will this make you slower? Probably not enough to care.
This is indeed a zipp disk. The braking rea has been masked off and was not painted.
If I painted a peace sign on it I guess you woul dthink it was cool
