Where are some good spots around here. Does anybody have a group that meets up. I know that Rye beach (or Oakland Beach) allows swimming but do you have to stay in the ropes?

Rye Beach, wait till there are no lifeguards. Tues nights at 7pm people are down there.
i asked the same question 2 years ago and got a great response from rappstar who’s from briarcliff, i think.
do a search and i’m sure you’ll find it. i think it’s at or around the croton damn?
Theres a group that swims on Friday mornings at Tod’s point at 6am. You can PM me if u want more info.

I know the Westchester Tri guys sometimes swim in White Pond… up near Fhanstock (sp?) …try their site for more info.
