I have been looking at the specs on the oval concepts a901 arm rest, the round ones, and was curous if they would be compable with Profiles in place or the f-19? I have only been comparing photos so am not sure if this would work in actuallity.
There is a good chance that they will work, but I have a better solution for you:
The $1 solution.

How about now?
Hahaha…that is great!!!
I arrived at the race site (Grand Coulee, WA) after putting the bike together in Seattle and found no arm pad. The expo had pads for $20.00 (the horror!!)but I decided I would try something else.
A trip to the dollar store, a tube of Goop, a few snips of scissors borrowed from the hotel and voila, a new arm pad.
It also performed better than the OEM pad on the right side. I’m never turning back!
Picture works now! Very creative. What is it made out of?
I mounted f19 pads on oval base bars. The spacing of the mounting holes is almost the same. I had to open up the holes by a few tenths of a mm (I just used a drill bit slightly larger than the existing holes) to get it to work. I then used some cleat mounting screws (threading is the same) that have a flush-mount head so I don’t feel the bolt heads thru the pads. Ordered some Cee-Gee pads on ebay. Perfect set up! I’ve been riding on them this way for 5 years w/ zero problems.

neoprene. I am not sure how it would hold up over a year of training and racing though. I only raced on it one day.
That is an awesome idea!
Was the choice of “Genuine Draft” deliberate or just a punny coincidence?

I’ve been using the polar replacement pads on my aerobars for months. It worked pretty well, they even stay on if your bike is on a roof rack. I also used them for a bunch of races. Def beats the nastly abrasions I used to get from the Oval Concepts pads, esp for 1/2IM distance.
Not a drinker - what is that thing? Where did it come from?
It is a cut out from a neoprene beer cosy that keeps your beer cold on a hot summer day, should your can of suds last longer than a minute or so.
It would have been a PBR, but I think that the “Genuine Draft” turned out funnier.
Ooooooh.
BRILLIANT!
