Have you used them? Are they as awesome as they look?

Check out Oval’s prototype. A few people will be riding them in Kona.
The rep told me as is they will retail for $2000+.
have them. Love them. Great customer support. This is a great aerobar… What else would you like to know about them? They are on my Kestrel. Use there stem though to avoid any slipping…

Easy to adjust? Did you have problems with other stems before switching the Oval’s? I was thinking about upgrading the P3C to those…the red would be sick
I have 'em. Nice and stiff.
No problems with slippage with my cheapo stem.
I wouldn’t use any other bar for the money.
Get them: they are light, adjustable, comfortable, functional, aero, accessorizable (sp?!), and they look good! I have ridden the Vision integrated bars and almost every clip-on known to man (seriously) and these are by far the best for all of the above reasons.
The A900’s look awesome, but they’re out of my price range. Anybody got anything good or bad to say about the A700’s. I broke my Carbon Stryke clip-on’s in a crash recently & need to replace them

I am looking for new bars the next season. How much are they? And are they good for climbing as well?
They were extremely easy to adjust. I have the red carbon extensions with my Kestrel Airfoil and it looks awesome. I am sure they would look cool on your PSC. I had the Ritchey WCS stem before and the faceplate was just not big enough. When I torqued it correctly they would still slip. I switched to the Oval stem and it has worked flawlessly. I would think that any stem with a larger four bolt faceplate would work but the oval stem is great it bolts from the back pulling the faceplate into the bar and have had no problems. The bars are a bit pricey but you can climb alright with them. Just put some tape for grip on them or you will slip. Hope this helps…

I’ve got the A900 and they’re great. They’re extremely adjustable, nearly too much so. You can adjust just about every aspect of them…
The A700 aren’t anywhere near as nice. They’re MUCH more limited in how adjustable they are. In fact, the A700 aren’t really adjustable enough. I’d recommend the A900’s in a second, but I think there are better alternatives to the A700s.
How many $2000+ aerobars do you think they’ll sell a year?
probably about 2
.
how are they different from the Hed aerobars?

“probably about 2”
Equal to the number of seconds you save over 112miles.
2 grand for aerobars ? you have to be kidding me thats where I draw the mf line . equipment prices are already outrageous but I gaurantee you some people honestly think that these aerobars will make them faster. The arms race that is triathlons is coming to head, cant wait to see the $ 1000 fork… soon, very soon… the only way prices will go down is if youy refuse to be ripped off…
$1000 fork is way more reasonable that $2000+ aerobars. (Not that its very reasonable)
they will retail for $2000+.
ITS A FREAKING HANDLEBAR PEOPLE!!!
EXTRAORDINARY POPULAR DELUSIONS AND THE MADNESS OF CROWDS!!! TULIP BULBS FOR SALE!!!
The A911 Jetstream is $2K but not the A900, is it?
The A900 is around $500, not $2k. The $2k aerobar is the new Oval Concepts bar.
I have had the A900 since beginning of last year. I like them a lot. The bad thing about them is the elbow pads. They are not as comfy as the Syntac C2s. I will admit that the elbow pads are uncomfortable, but I have never noticed in a race, only in training. Never done and IM, only HIM for me.
stiffer. slightly different shape. very slight drop.
