I know I will be pilloried for this but here goes…
I DESPISE “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison. He can’t sing, yet people insist on singing along. It’s difficult to dance to, but people insist on dancing anyway. Way overplayed. During my school days, I couldn’t go to any kind of party without hearing it at least once. It curses my waking existance and fills my nightmares with a terrible dread. There is a muse from some dark frozen circle of hell that inspired Mr. Van Morrison to put this tripe to the recording tape. It is an unfathomable evil that comes to us unbounded by time and unhindered by any sense of taste or goodness. It is the spawn of pure chaotic devilry and is a blight upon my everlasting soul…
