OT: Blundstone boots? Any wearers out there?

Looking for a comfortable daily wear boot and ran across these Blundstone 500’s. Seem to have a long history and popular following. Any wearers in the group here? Like 'em?

Yup, I have a pair that I wear on snowy/sleeting/rainy winter days here in Boston. I like them alot since I don’t have to pack along a separate pair of boots to walk to work and then change to my inside shoes. I also like they are as weatherproof as boots but they look like regular shoes. I’ve noticed they feel a bit “boot like” (compared to the sneakers I usually wear all day) so I might throw a pair of insoles in them this winter to make them more comfortable.

Hope this helps.

Love mine. They get worn for absolutely everything. I just demolished our kitchen while wearing them - wiped 'em off and was wearing them at a party on saturday night. They’re the best foot wear i’ve ever owned!

Got 'em. Like 'em

Love em enough to get picked on by wearing them with shorts here in So Cal…

Great boot. Comfortable, dressy and cusual.Plus they are well made.

Have had them for a couple of years. Have held up well and are especially good for wet, mucky conditions. Are comfortable now, but were too tight at the top of the foot when I first bought them (the vamp?). Had to take them to a shoe repair place to have them stretched.

Ah, my ugly boots! I love them. I got a pair when I was in Australia a couple of decades ago and loved them. Wore them everywhere. After about 10 years I finally had to have a funeral for them. Last year I got another pair to replace them. They are great boots. I personally like the origional sole the best.

Just piling on here since you already know what you need to know, but here are a couple lifestyle tidbits likely to be important to you.

  1. Shoe covers fit over them for OR.

  2. They are great for air travel because they don’t need a free hand to get off in the security line.

YUCK! Not my job…not my OR.
