For those of you who use Speedplay are the updated cleats from Wahoo quite a bit better? I have an older very lightly used original cleat and wondering if the Wahoo ones (which are on sale) are worth upgrading to.

They’re effectively equivalent. If you buy the new ones at a discount, just wait until the old ones wear out before replacing them.
Switched over from the old Speedplay cleats to the new Wahoo ones back in the summer. No problems, i had thought the yellow plastic cleat cover was a bit over the top, but came to really appreciate it, no tap dancing/sliding at a stop !
Not worth it - I upgraded a pair for a recent race and saw no difference. The wahoo cleats have more rust (internal screws) than my prior speedplays.
