Brand New (2011) Origin-8 Speed Pro wheelset 700c for Campagnolo drivetrain.
I ride Shimano and just bought a pair of Mavic Ksyrium SL’s two weeks ago. I contacted Origin-8 this morning and they informed me that the freehub body can be changed to Shimano. The part is a DT Swiss hub that converts the wheel from Campy to Shimano. Had I not just spent $1000 on wheels I would ABSOLUTELY keep these things.
They would serve as an excellent lightweight training wheel or even a racing wheel - as the SET is only 1500g. The wheels list at over $700 (see link). Looking for $650 for the set. These wheels would make for an excellent training/race wheel for most, a great training wheel for a higher level race, or a solid first set of racing wheels.
