I have never tried an ORCA suit on before. I’m 5’8" and about 170 (though that number will decrease soon ) How do you think that would fit me?
Depends, check out their website for the size charts. The chest and the torso length are very critical to fit. This suit has very flexible shoulders due to 2mm thin panels, so you can swim comfortable for longs periods. I swam a few 4500 yrd open water swims with no problems but I’m not getting any thiner sooooo, this suit must go. You should try on few suits if you live anywhere near a good shop to get a feel for them however.
thanks I will try to find someone with ORCA. How tall are you and how much do you weight so I can use that as a gauge.

I happen to own a size 6 Orca sonar. The 5’8" is good for the size 6 in length, but your weight is above the range. My guess is that if you dropped 20lbs it would be good. Oh, I’m 5’7", have a 37" chest and weigh 135lbs. I’m below the weight range- and there’s certainly extra room around the middle in mine, but they’re pretty stretchy. Anyway: here’s a photo of what it looks like on me. I’m the guy on the right. (I know, most people don’t notice that there’s a guy in this photo)

There’s a size chart on the Orca web site. it’s pretty accurate- with the understanding that wetsuits are made to fit tighter than most people realize. you pretty much should be able to read the date on a dime if you had one in the pocket of your tri-suit.
