Just got to do a test ride on a 2009 Ordu. I didn’t have my shoes with me so I couldn’t get an honest test ride. The bike felt kinda sluggish though. I definitey wasn’t feeling lot of stiffness but agin I was wearing my tennis shoes so probably not a fair assesment.
the bike is plenty stiff for 99% of the population… good enough for craig to be world champion. If there is complain about the ordu… it could be for aero design or geometry but definitly not stifness or comfort because they bike as both of these point done very well…
I’d definitely ride it with proper shoes. I love the bike, but of course I’m biased. The only thing I’d have to say is that the bike is more visually pleasing than aerodynamic. It’s by no means the fastest bike, but a 4:33 (I think) time in Kona isn’t too shabby.
Funny u said that. I asked the guy to set me up steep (at least 79 degreed). He kind of scratched his head. He got me set up for around 78 he said but when I was riding it felt a little unstable on the front end. That was my 1st time on a tri bike tho so I attributed it to the newness of the tri set up to me and the fact that it was a cursory set up. I guess that is what Slowman means when her complains that some bikes aren’t truely meant for tri.
