Does anyone know of any places to swim open water or where others swim in Stowe?
There is the Waterbury reservoir that is not too far from Stowe that quite a few local triathletes open water swim.

They do allow motor boats on the reservoir so I recommend a swim buoy and use discretion about where you swim.
Waterbury is full of weeds. Green River reservoir just above Morrisville is Great ! 19 miles of pollution free water with the occasional kayak for company. Get there early before the parking goes.
Will probably head to Waterbury because it’s closer to where we are staying.
