Open water swim Jackson Hole in October

Hi - any suggestions for open water swimming in Jackson Hole in early October? I have a winter 70.3 so looking for outdoor swim options Thanks

I think there are some beaches on Jackson Lake that are easy to access.

I just left Jackson and the Tetons… as in literally two hours ago.

I visited several lakes. They’re already in the low 60s for water temps. Another month and they’re going to be real cold. Air temps are in the 30s at night. It was 32 degrees when I walked to the coffee shop at 7:00 AM this morning.

There are. Easiest one would be at Signal Mountain Lodge area.

That stated, if OP is staying in Jackson the drive to Jackson Lake is 45-75 minutes depending on what part of the lake.

I do all my open water swims in String Lake. It’s shallower, calmer and warmer than the other lakes.
