I will be down there the week after 4th of July. Hoping to get a swim or two in at a lap pool. Anyone have any places I am able to swim at and pay per day? I see there is an Aquatic and Fitness Center but it looks like it isn’t take any per day people.
I am not brave enough to swim in the ocean. So, that is likely not going to happen.

It’s off island and a little further south down Rte 9 or the GSP, but Cape May County Special Services has lap swim times and allows drop-ins.

Unfortunately south Jersey is terrible for pools in general. I live just north of Ocean City in Absecon. In this area the Jewish community center in Margate, the aquatic center in Brigantine, and the community center in Ocean City are your only options. Of those three, only the JCC in Margate does drop in passes, at $20/day.
My recommendation would be to bite the bullet and get a one month pass to Ocean City; it’s far nicer than the pool I swim at in Brig and would be cheaper than multiple drop ins at the JCC.
