Someone asked about finding a Catlike Whisper helmet the other day and one of the responders had an ebay link to knock off Catlike helmets. I found this one, showing that it has certification. So… would you trust it? There are threads about riding the chinese carbon frames, wheels,; how do you feel about helmets?
Gawd no! Just looking at it makes my head hurt.
The Styrofoam padding looks about 1cm thick.
I personally would not trust it, but what do I really know. But that is exactly the issue. 
Plus you won’t be able to race it since it is unlikely to be certified
Herbert, this one claims it IS certified. The pictures don’t show it, but the description claims CSPC cert. That’s why I’m curious if anyone would try this. I don’t think I would.

Actually, I own a Whisper Plus and love it.
That helmet just doesn’t look like something I would be willing to put my melon in and trust. It might be good for a pillow fight?

True, but if your frame of fork fails, you MIGHT not bounce your head off the pavement.
As far as the world champ colors, most of us here are posers! lol - is that any different than wearing a complete Lance kit and riding a Madone?
This isn’t just another piece of gear. It’s a helmet. It’s a matter of safety. If you have to question the helmet’s integrity, then it’s not worth taking the chance. Plus, if you purchase it and still skeptical, you’ll be going out on every ride with that slight fear in the back of your mind.
Bet no one would think someone wearing it was a world champ.
Don’t we copy what the pros wear often ?

I neither said I trusted it or not. Just that it would be as trust worthy as any other piece of carbon fibre. I personally would not buy it. And I wouldn’t buy no name brand carbon fibre forks or seat posts either. If one of those fails, a helmet may be able to save you, maybe not.

Perhaps the sticker is open mold, too? So easy to print your own. People here talk about taking a sticker out of one helmet and putting it in another.

Not any different at all, and I would comment on that too.
Though I believe the world champ stripes should be reserved to people that are actually world champs, call me crazy.
