Opel "Flex Fix" integrated bike carrier - experiences?

Anyone has experience with the Opel “Flex Fix” integrated bike carrier?

Same system has been fitted to the smaller Corsa for a number of years, there is a video review on YouTube. Corsa Bike Rack Demo.

One thing to check - the FlexFix, I think, means you cannot carry a spare tyre in the underfloor cradle. Your flar kit would then be a spray can and a 12v pump. This may or not be important to you.

One user said ‘one small disadvantage with them is you lose the spare wheel (Flex-Fit uses that space) but you get puncture repair foam and an electric pump in its place. At first I wasn’t keen on that, but in one month alone I’ve used the Flex-Fit more times than I’ve ever used a spare wheel in my entire driving life’
