I am Canadian and traveling to the US shortly. Since our dollar is unusually strong, I wanted to purchase some gear (most critically, running shoes), but my travel time does not allow for an ‘in store’ visit. So I am looking for a recommendation for online running shoe shops. Any suggestions?

if you don’t care about the discount, but prefer on time free overnight delivery go to www.zappos.com
another alternative is www.roadrunnersports.com but if you are not a member the delivery can take up to 7 days and not much discount.

I’ve tried buying shoes online from a couple of sites but the problem I keep running into is they won’t let you use a Canadian credit card and ship to the US. A lot of them aren’t set up for that. If you find one that works please post it because the prices are great and the dollar is awesome right now.
Both Niketown and Newtonrunning allow you to return any product regardless of condition within 30 days.
This may not be an issue if you arleady know the make/model/size you want, however I’ve found enough variance between sneakers of that were suppose to be the same to warrent a strong return policy.

i just found a place with VERY good prices, free second day air shipping, and I found an online code for another 15% off. it’s runningwarehouse.com. i randomely googled looking for a discount, and found a code for the “west virginia trail runners” that gave me 15%. give it a try. I am not a member of the trail runnners, and don’t live anywhere near west virginia
