One more positive

Florent Lacasse, 800m runner, finalist at the Euro champ, tested positive to testosterone…
His comment was not ‘I drunk the night before’, ‘I have a vanishing twin’, ‘the lab is after me’, ‘it was in my toothpaste’, ‘it’s for me dog’, ‘it’s for my mother in law who’s really sick’, ‘the lab screwed up’…not…it was ‘I made a mistake’.

So there is no such thing as a “false positive”?

only americans are false positives. all other athletes are dopers

That sounds about right…

When Floyd was found with elevated Testosterone, one of the arguments I heard frequently was that it wouldn’t be useful for him anyway. Others claimed it was useful for recovery, but many continued to argue that it would not help in his situation.

My point is that it seems really odd to me that there are so many positives with testosterone these days. It something that’s been around a long time, and why is it suddenly becoming more “useful”? I wonder if it masks something else?

just to clarify, Floyd had elevated T/E RATIO - not elevated amount/quantity of testosterone.

Yes, and some of his samples supposedly show synthetic testosterone as well. I wonder what exactly this track guy is accused of, and if it’s the same or different.

Positive for testosterone is, in fact, something most guys (I think all people) are guilty of.
