For the same price, I can either buy a 2003 QR Superfull or a 2004 Desoto T1 Tres. The 2004 QR Superfull goes for about $450, so its a nice discount for last years model. Unfortunately, I did not find anyone with discounted Desoto’s. Any advice is appreciated.

Man, I love the DeSoto T1- it is my favorite suit. But that Superfull is killer and that price is nearly impossible to beat.
Make sure the Superfull fits then buy it.
Tom, have you ever observed any durability issues with QR’s use of ultra-thin “ribbed” neoprene especially at the shoulders?
No, not at all- I’ve had great luck and so have my friends who use the suits.
As I have posted before, if you get the TRES bottom ($150 retail) and the T1 top ($184 retail) that beats $450. And, if you shoulder are limber and strong the TRES top is nearly as flexible as the T1 top and is about $50 less. De Soto gives you a 2 week return period, if you don’t put your name in it. Who else does that. Some LBS will give you a better price if you are a ‘regular.’
