Anyone know where I can find old triathlon results online. I am looking for MRS. T’s results from 1983 or so.
Isn’t that now called the Accenture Chicago Triathlon? I’d probably start with contacting the Race Director to see who the timing company was for those races and seeing if they have the archived results.
Good luck, I tried to dig up some results from the late 90’s (97, 98) and had a tough time.
back in the 80s it was called “Mrs. T’s”.
Mrs. Ts may have also previously been called the Stroh’s Lite. The Sun-Times and/or The Bud Light Triathlon, all of which were held in Chicago during that period. I did all of those but "retired " from triathlons the year before the name changed to Mrs. T’s.
In the late 80’s to the mid 90’s the Sun-Times Triathlon was put on by
CPR Events
4001 N. Ravenswood Ave Suite 205
Chicago, IL 60613 if you wanted a copy of the complete results it cost $4.00
The Bud Light Triathlon was put on by:
Race Place Event Systems
6505 N. 16th St.
Phoenix, AZ 85016
I’m embarassed that I still have this info.

Actually the Sun Times race the the Bud Light race were two different races in the early 90s. Similar courses, but different race at different times of the summer.
Here ya go, Chicago was a Bud lite race in 83…

Ah, don’t be. I still have 4 or 5 old results booklets around from tri’s I did in the mid 80’s.

Cool, thanks for posting that. I did the Austin race, my first triathlon ever.
I have the results booklet that they mailed out for 1984. It was Bud Light that year. IIRC, Allen, Tinley and the Puntous twins did very well. There is even a 24 year-old Tom Demerly in there. If anyone wants it, PM me with your email address. I’ll scan it in the next day or so and send it to you.
