Hi all
Can anyone recall whether Flo did a comparison of the old wheels versus the new carbon clinchers
I have the old 60/90 and wonder if an upgrade is worth it
Assume a minute or two is important
Cheers Steve

Dear lord, man. The product page for every single Flo wheel has a super easy-to-use chart with checkboxes for every Flo wheel, new or old. And of course the poor Mavic Open Pro. You can easily compare any Flo wheel to any other Flo wheel. Then use the old 50g=5W rule of thumb to get a ballpark idea.
Their blog section has much more detailed information if you want that.
What he said. Look at those charts on flo site.
Upgrade from old wheels to new is not worth it. New Flo 60 reduced drag by 20g, Flo 90s by 10g. Or savings of 2W and 1W roughly. A two minute difference over 40 Km is the difference between alloy wheel and carbon wheel! With the switch you are talking about you’d get 6-12 second savings over 40 Km.
New flo wheels are substantially lighter but that doesn’t matter much in triathlon.
You have a great set of wheels already.
Got it
And not worth it
Cheers
