Last year I saw a father and his 3 kids out riding at the park where everyone trains during the week. I tell you that man had the biggest grin on his face - probably had something to do with sharing time with his kids at 4:45 in the afternoon on a workday. The only problem was he was wearing his helmet backwards as the back of the helmet was much pointer than the front with a huge cutout for the tensioning device and the way the helmet straps were pulling at the back of his ears, I am surprised he did not have some abrasions. I asked him if he was enjoying his ride and although I would not have thought it possible, he got an even bigger smile on his face and replied “absolutely!” At that point I casually mentioned that his helmet might be a bit more comfortable if he turned it around where upon he frowned just a tad then turned to his kids and asked, “I thought you said this was how it was supposed to be worn?” His kids burst out in laughter at which time the father, only slightly embarassed, began to laugh as well then thanked me as he correctly doned his helmet! :^>

Thank you for the helmet story. As one who has probably sold more than 1,000 helmets, each one with a fitting included, it is one of my buttons.
I had an idea to have Bell put stickers inside each and everyone that said FRONT in the appropriate place. They didn’t go for it.
Just for grins, I’m going to ride Cd’A with my old foam Protec on backwards and see what kind of reaction I get. (OK, maybe not.)
