So I was thinking after a little off time after last race to do 3 single sport focused blocks: Thinking this: Fall-running, Next -swimming-, then biking since would probably benefit season most by being last…?
How do you spend the so called offseason…for many I know there is no offseason
Edit: Forgot to mention mt biking too, I just started so lovin it
I am not attached to the idea of 3 blocks but I am open to suggestions.
Fall seems like a great time for a running block since alot of races around as well as requires most recovery time.
After my last race I’m going to have fun on the Mountain bike untill it gets too cold and there is snow on the ground.
When it starts snowing I’m going to be snowboarding 2 times a week (if I can afford it) along with higher volume swimming and normal volume running.
In late January I’ll be back on the bike again to get ready for Triple T training continuing to swim high volume untill our state meet. I should still be snowboarding
By March I should be ramping up my running to normal season volumes.
In May I’ll be racing again.
Notice that the plan is Fun…Fun…Fun then Work with Fun then back to Work
