The red river shootout always intrigues. A very old and dear friend is an OK alum and is down on their chances to compete this year. Conventional wisdom says Texas has it in the bag. Go Sooners!

I read a bit about the horrors of the embiggened 10. Through last week only 1 team that has traveled over two time zones has won a road game.
And State College dones’t have a big enough airport. Their runway is only 6700’ long, too short for anything bigger than a Embraer E175 with 2000 miles range. West coast teams (and PSU) have to fly in and out of Harrisburg, 100 miles by bus.
Speaking of State College, PSU is keeping the time zone trend going.

I’m fine with Penn State winning. But it also showed why USC is just meh. Has to be tough for them, didn’t trail until the last play of the game.
