There are people freaking out. They won’t be able to blame the weather!
I’m just ready to pull the pin and get on the course… last day in the office today and I don’t think I’m delivering full value for my paycheck.
I should have alerted you all - I always bring perfect weather when I race. CdA, St George, AZ… all have been partly cloudy and 70s on race day.
In Boston this year, I pulled in a special favor and dialed up a 20MPH tailwind the whole day.
See you in Madison… I’ll be the middle aged guy in lycra.

I’d be more worried about those snakes. I’ve heard their food (the algae) was gone as of a month ago, and they’re basically eating anything they can. Watch those toes!!!

To everyone participating this weekend: Good Luck! Should be an absolutely perfect day! Tomorrow (Thurs) night, as I sit in Lambeau Field, sipping on my 9th over-priced beer, after watching Kid Rock at the NFL Kick-off Concert outside of Lambeau Field, I will be thinking about all you lucky little triathletes, suffering the last few days of taper, and getting ready to race. ;-p
Going to be a great day, much different from '05 with the temps in the high 90s, the humidity and the wind. As Mike Reilly put it “Kona heat meets Wisconsin hills”. Will be a great day for spectators too, I’m flying out Saturday where my wife is racing Sunday. Best of luck to all!
