Of 3 power meters sram red xplr gravel reads lowest and i switched cranks

bike came with 172.5
i switched to 165
I never rode with the 172.5 - so no experience with that power data
my reading of sram web site says ‘magic zero’ knows crank length based on spindle.

my sram is low (about 6-8%) compared to kickr bike (v1) and dual sided stages on road bike. my stages fluctuates with battery level. when my power seems too low - it’s prob time to replace battery! the kickr just ‘seems’ super consistent/reliable. whenever I do 10-20 minute power tests kickr bike is always within a few watts (as I’m 57 just holding on to the watts when i test on a ‘good’ day is the goal).

sram looks really easy to change the slope, so that’s better for my ego and for getting all 3 meters closer to even.

is sram power being a bit low within the realm of possibility?

Find a friend with power meter pedals and do some compariative testing using the DC rainmaker analyzer. Otherwise there are too many other variables.

whoa - I didn’t think of that. are we thinking 2 head units - one for each power meter? my nieces have mtb power pedals…

Yup. Two head units, and then go test them over a variety of intensifies, from easy to sprinting. The power is saved with a timestamp, so it’s easy for the post processing software to align the files
