O'Donnell's Speed Concept

I’m on a mission to make my Trek SC look like that of Tim O’Donnell. Specifically, this set up: https://www.triathlete.com/gear-tech/bike/pro-bike-tim-odonnells-trek-speed-concept/

And TO isn’t responding to my Tweets, so I’m left guessing about many things.

For the aerobars, I’ve gone with USE 40 degree High Rise. But what’s up with those arm pads? Any guesses? If the answer is custom, what are the closest commercially available pads?

Better yet, TO if you’re reading this, please send me a DM.

Thanks, I think you’re correct. Unfortunately, they don’t sell them in the U.S.

Wattshop 20° rise works perfect. I have them with use 40 high-rise.

Or do ws armrest in 10° with zipp Evo 110 and then use the SC adjustment to get more angle

Aero-coach do something similar even with angled wedges

Yeah unfortunately now till April or late March is what they’re saying apparently they’re changing their design.

Just curious, why does he have two power meters? He has a Quarq crankset and Garmin Vector pedals.

I’m noticing that most high hands positions involve purchases from the UK.

Kind of unrelated, l know, but is he really racing on tubular tires ?

Yup, he talks about it in his AMA post on the forum: https://forum.slowtwitch.com/forum/Slowtwitch_Forums_C1/Triathlon_Forum_F1/Tim_O’Donnell_Ask_Me_Anything_P7111405/?search_string=tim#p7111405

Thr Alden Design pads are very similar to the Wattshop stuff, but more nicely finished and sturdier. Glen is a nice guy who has done some custom stuff for me so I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for something slightly different. 90% chance he will do you a solid if he can.

Not exactly what Tim has, but look at this option for pad holders:

Why?

Same tyres as Rohan Dennis at the world TT titles and the TT race he did last week…
