Popularity is where it's at! We've seen big names like Schwarzenegger gain offices up to gov. (Hey we had Cooter from my area!). I'm thinking the first female pres will be Brittany Spears...you heard it here first. :)
No idea how it will play out, but it strikes me as a really effective medium for the current government to get message out. – or not - maybe they will talk about his wife’s inauguration gowns???
I am in the big deal category - until I see how it is played.
Anyone see it? I did not get anything out of it, but I did not expect to, because I pay attention to the news. Ostensibly, the purpose was to get info out to a group that may not normally get the word, but he did little to none of that. He did describe just how big AIG is, but that was the closest to information that he came. The rest was pap, and the appearance ended up as just a photo-op. He may have lost points overall because of the Special Olympics slip.
Anybody else have thoughts? What did I miss?
ps. (okay, Jay did say it was probably the best day of his life, so there is that)
just so y’all know, I am embarrased that he is from Illinois. The feds just pumped $1,000,000,000,000.00 into the market to pump up the mortgage market, North Korea is planning to launch a intercontinal bolistic missle, we are treating Iran like a newly discovered African tribe and all B.O. is doing is going on Leno? good grief! I miss W.
