need to replace my oakley lenses,
anyone know anything about non-oakley replacement? there is a bunch on ebay but
how does quality compare? thanks!
I’ve seen people get some of those and the coating eventually peels off…I have a love/hate with Oakley. I love their stuff but there IS good quality control and even warranty replacement plans.

I think people feel those are the best aftermarket lenses for Oakley, but I haven’t seen any feedback on their impact performance. Personally, I wouldn’t risk my eyes to save a little bit of money.

Coating wore off my Oakley’s after I took them too the beach and accidentally sprayed them with spray-on sun-screen (coating started to wear off). I didn’t bother with warranty since it was mostly my fault due to carelessness.
I’ve never worried about impact performance. VLs are darker than Oakley lenses they replaced. Otherwise, to me, they are equal and I would purchase the VL lenses in a heartbeat again.
It’s not an Oakley if you aren’t using Oakley lenses. If you are willing to take a chance on lense quality and impact durability you might as well just pick up a new pair of cheap frames.
