Anyone know when they’ll post the results of the lottery? All I’ve heard is that it’s sometime in mid-June. I figure it must have been discussed over at letsrun.com, but it seems everyone there qualified and are now busy bitching about how they won’t be properly seeded and will have to run through the masses. Must really suck being a 2:30-2:45 runner:)
I’m wondering the same thing…Last year my friends who got in received an email pretty quickly after the lottery closed. I did not get the email…Maybe this year.

I have no idea, but that’s cool that you entered the lottery, Amy! I did NY in 2004(?) and it’s a really great experience. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!!
I just checked the website again and they’re going to post the results on noon EST June 12. Can’t wait.

Edit: Never mind, I think that is just if you entered the lottery. Sorry. I actually kinda sorta hoped I didn’t get in so there is still hope for failure.
Does that really mean you are in . . . or does it just mean you are “in” the lottery for a place??
It still has me as “Lottery”. As far as I can tell, they’ve chosen the international participants and the participants who have qualified. Those folks will all show as “Accepted” or “Not Accepted”. The domestic lottery folks will have to wait until June 12.
