Nutella and strawberries!

Just got back from a 6 hr ride and there were fresh strawberries on the counter. I made a Nutella and strawberry sandwich with some sourdough toast.

YUMMY!!! I think I have a new favorite recovery food. I think bannanas would be good too,

Found Nutella when I went to Africa. Man, that stuff is good. My kids eat it like crazy.

Chocolate Carnation Instant Breakfast, soy milk, Nutella, and frozen strawberries makes a mean recovery smoothie…my favorite after a long ride.

Nutella could make cardboard taste good.

is nutella made of crack?

Hazelnuts, cocoa, milk and just enough crack to hook you for life. The ingredients vary slightly from country to country, and Ferrero flatly denies the inclusion of crack - although if you’ve ever tried it it’s patently obvious that there’s crack in there.

True indeed!

The German stuff has more nuts and is “drier” than the Swiss. The French Nutella contains more Oil, even more than the Italian (there seem to be parallels to life ;)).
I buy Nutella in Ireland from a German chain and they seem to import it from there.

What’s it like in the states? I’ll be in NYC from September.

Uli, 27 years of Nutella and counting

I’ve become a fan of a pbj with nutella spread over the top of it as a bedtime snack. It’s good on apples too.

Good call! My current prerace meal is a bagel with peanut butter, nuetella, and banana. I also find that half of a nuetella and strawberry jelly sandwich is an excellent pre-swimming snack.

Oh, and I should mention, its great on ice cream, too.

It’s great in crepes too. I’ve been on a PB, nutella, and banana kick lately.

OH man you all are awesome!!! Great Ideas. Ice cream! Smoothies! Apples! I love this place.

Time to call my dealer and get another fix.

BTW I think America’s is a lot like the french stuff. I have had it there and it was the same,

I just made a waffle sandwich with nutella

1 POUND of sugar for the banana glaze??

I never said they were good for you…only that they tasted good. You could also make them without the banana compote and just serve with sliced bananas. However, most people are just going to drown them in maple syrup anyway. Besides, the sugar can’t be any worse for you than the crack they put in Nutella.

mmmm…nutella!!! i love a nutella and PB sandwich…and like others said…excellent with strawberries and bananas! I also like dipping my raw almonds in nutella! But you also have to try putting nutella in your oatmeal! yummy!

I bet they do at that

I don’t understand all this discussion of nutella and bananas, nutella and strawberries, etc.

All I need is nutella and a spoon.
