Numb Foot/Big Toe and Weakness in Upper Leg - What now?

My left foot went numb two months ago. I saw a back surgeon today who also confirmed weakness in my upper leg, which he said he isn’t able to explain anatomically. He doesn’t think it’s coming from the back and isn’t able to help. Next step will be a nerve conduction test. Has anyone dealt with numbness and/or weakness? If so, what helped to get rid of it?
In addition to those issues, MRIs revealed tears in both hamstrings and gluteus medius (not full thickness), but on the opposite side (right). Not sure if there is any connection to the numbness/weakness.

My left foot and great toe is always numb and variably painful. lower leg a little numb/ tingly at times. Quads a bit weak.
This is all due to spinal stenosis. Had 3 back surgeries. One a fusion which made things worse. Before the first surgery I couldn’t walk 50 feet and pain was horrible.
The tingly weak feelings started about a year or so before the big issue which started two weeks after 2019 Kona.
If you haven’t had an MRI or CT myelogram to determine if there is pressure on a nerve root or central canal, you should. I kept telling my doc he was ignoring one of the MRI’s indicating mild stenosis at the level above where the 3 surgeries were. After a second CT myelogram turns out I was correct. Need another surgery but going to wait another year.
