I ordered my wife a new road bike last June for her birthday. Yesterday, nine months later, she picked up this masterpiece. I can’t help but post some pictures to show this thing off! It won ‘Best Paint’ at the 2011 North American Handmade Bike Show.

We hear that a lot, but underneath the amazing paint is an equally nice frame. It’s made to be ridden. She picked it up yesterday and should have well over 200 miles on it before Sunday!

I’m sure it is. And I’m sure she’ll get many enjoyable miles out of the bike. And a lot of turned heads.
Maybe when Flo Cycling starts producing ~40mm race wheels there might be some on there!
Haha! We’ll see what we can do. Right now the budget for the 60mm, 90mm and Disc is tough enough. 40mm wheels might come in the future. You’d never consider 60mm?
Again, that’s a really cool bike. My brother’s girlfriend is a huge Vincent Van Gogh fan. I showed her the pictures and her jaw dropped. She wanted me to tell you she really like the bike too.

I’ve got a set of 60’s already…we’ll at least she does. I’m looking for something a little shallower for every day riding!
How do you pull the trigger on a Schmolke seat post? I spend some $ but… Don’t get me wrong, it’s the baddest seat post on the planet, I find it hard. Super custom build!!!
