Bird stone ran a fantastic race…too bad for Smarty Jones…I was on the edge of my seat cheering him on to victory…guess I was too far away for him to hear. You could see coming down the stretch that A)smarty was too laid back and B)Bird stone REALLY wanted it bad
I’m used to some American names being a little unusual, but I thought to myself that surely no-one would call their kid “Bird Stone” and “Smarty Jones”!!
Thankfully Google educated me to the fact that they were horses! I thought they might have been cyclists or runners!
