Just curious if any of yall have tried the North Face: Better than Naked line of running apparel. It looks to be pretty nice. I’m due for a new pair of shorts and thought about trying them out. Never had any North Face running clothes though.
I have a bunch of the Flight Series stuff and love it. Typical North Face quality…excellent! I would recommend it.
better than naked is awesome stuff. In Texas you may not need it but their winter wind stop stuff is also great stuff when the temp gets low.

The BTN 5" Split Short is my favorite piece of running clothing. Let me know if you can find it for less than $45!!!
I love the shorts! They are my go to shorts in the nasty hot, humid NJ weather. As name suggests, they are so damn comfortable, you don’t notice you have them on - so way better than running naked!
I also love the shirts and the whole line of clothing. You can sometimes find deals on amazon and Sierra trading post.
Do you recommend the shorts with our without the slit on the side? I’ve never had shorts with the slit.
They may feel really short to you, especially if you’ve never worn them. I am not a fan of the short old-school runner shorts, and prefer to wear spandex under slightly longer shorts when hiking long or trail racing.
The longer North Face running shorts are really nice. I also have some running tank tops that are very high quality.

Am female and run in the split short. Yes, they are short - I am 50, pretty fit, but also pretty modest with clothing, have cyclists thighs (not built like a skinny runner) and don’t mind the length.
They are by far, my favorite shorts in this nasty hot humid weather - as soon as I wash them, I wear them again! They seem to hold up well. Am going to look for them on sale at end of summer/early fall and will post here when i see sale.
