Okay so my husband and I just completed CDA and had a good time. We did Arizona last year and we are thinking next year we would like to choose one outside of the US. We do not have a lot of opportunities to train in hilly areas other than the weekends so a flatter course would be ideal but CDA had a few climbs and we were fine. I am looking at possibly Germany or Brazil and was wondering if anyone had any imput/suggestions for us.
haven’t done it but IM Western Australia is completely flat both the bike and run
.
when in the year do you want to go?
IM South Africa is late March - still summer in the south although this year it rained and the swim was v rough.
I don’t think the bike course is too hilly - I’ve been over parts of it.
there were a few STers who raced this year (JulianinEngland being 1 I can remember)
Wellcome to Brazil. Florianopolis is a nice and cheap city. You’ll have a great course and well organized race.
i will be doing IMWA 12/3. THe course is extremely flat and the “ocean” swim is in a bay around a 1.2 mile jetty and back in.good luck
