Just wondering, why this is happening.
Here is some pink text
This is what it looks like in my preview window on this website (pic below) and yet it appears as above with no pink.
Any idea why this is happening?

I don’t know but I’d ask in the Development category, where questions about the platform and software are likely to get more traction.
Good idea.
Didn’t even know that category existed. I’ve asked multiple questions over DM and gotten zero response, or initial acknowledgment and then ghosted.
Quick glance at Dev category does not exactly raise one’s hopes, though:
The majority of topics aren’t even replied to, and then worse, the very last response in the “big thread” from any site admins etc…:

hotpink has to be in quotes
test2
(test2 was <span style="color:hotpink">test2</span>
)
Didn’t work
Yup, no joy.
I have used it on here before so something was broken or disabled.

I have used it too, but l never used quotes. Works on the preview fine, but not in the final post. Very odd.
Also when I looked at the source code for this page, the span color I showed above is working (grey) for your signature line. So there’s something in the signatures that is working but not in the regular posts.

weird.
Yes, that is wild.
Gotta use some pink on my signature!

Do you do anything except complain? /pink
What are yall, stupid or something?
See, mods, this is where pink font would come in handy.
I actually don’t think they care.
No pink. Just what I’ve observed. Wish they’d prove me wrong.
Test that this text will be red

ETA It works in the preview, but not in the final.
@E_DUB can this be fixed?
